Theresa R. Braswell, Managing Member
Theresa, founding member of Robinson Braswell Consulting Services, LLC, has collectively over twenty (20) years experience of tax planning and preparation of individual and business tax returns, auditing and providing financial services. Theresa graduated from Lincoln University (PA) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in accounting. She has served many clients in various industries. Robinson Braswell Consulting Services, LLC was established in January, 1999 and is a Small Business Technical Assistance Center, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8 (a), Maryland certified MBE, and an Authorized U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Technical Assistance Provider.
Theresa has developed and conducted a series of seminars/workshops and information sessions for beginning and mature-stage entrepreneurs at the Prince Georges County Economic Development Corporation-Small Business Assistance Center & Small Business Initiative, Bowie State University-Business Information Centers, Port Towns Economic Resource Center, and National Professional Women’s Exchange. She specializes in the needs of individuals and small business owners seeking quality affordable services and assists small businesses in developing relationships with larger corporations (Mentor protégé relationship) to pursue mutual business interests.

Sheila has over 20 years of accounting, finance and business planning experience supporting, Federal Government Contracting, For Profit and Not-For-Profit business entities in various financial leadership positions. She is a Certified Public Accountant specializing in the Real Estate industry. Sheila graduated from University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and later graduated from Atlanta University with an MBA in Finance/Accounting.
Sheila has developed and provided seminars and workshops to train non accounting staff, management and small business owners at the following venues: Maryland Small Business Development Center, Montgomery County Department of Economic Development Corporation, Long Branch Business League, various Real Estate Brokerage Firms, Citicorp Business Seminar Series, and East Montgomery County Regional Service Center.
Sheila has also provided oversight and performance in financial statement preparation, analysis and management, compilations and reviews, account reconciliations, year end closing support, financial statement audit support, budget variance and cost analysis, financial modeling, preparing federal government financial reports, development and analysis of internal and external financial reports, contract funding forecasts, program management financial support and overall fiscal activities of organizations. She has lead in both tactical and strategic financial planning and analysis support to organizations and senior management in plan implementation and oversight, risk assessment and management, mitigation and problem resolution.
